Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery

Exhibition created by: Vivienne Westwood
Produced and toured by: Nomad Exhibitions

Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery is a travelling global exhibition created by Vivienne Westwood and produced and toured by Nomad Exhibitions. It offers an immersive history lesson of the British design house’s jewellery heritage. Launching at The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, lighting played a pivotal role in enhancing the storytelling and visual impact of the collection.

We collaborated with fellow Scottish makers Midton and Old School Fabrication in our respective fields to produce a number of items for this world class show.

One of our challenges was to deliver a bespoke "halo" to sit inside the cloche; it was essential that this element had a very discreet form whilst locating accurate lighting from exactly where it was required. Allowing the general aesthetic of the curation and the artifacts themselves to remain the key points of emphasis.
